Terms of Use

Last updated: 21 October 2026

AI & Technology Guide is published by Taveo Ltd (registered in England & Wales, company number 15748291, 41 St John Street, London EC1M 4DN). These terms are short and in plain words. By reading the site you agree to them.

1. What this site is

This is an information site. It explains artificial intelligence and everyday technology for readers over 50, in plain language. It is a reading site: there is nothing to buy, no quiz to take, and no account to create.

2. What this site is not

The guide is for general information. It is not personal advice. Before you act on anything in the guide — especially about money, health, or your phone — check with a person you trust or an official source. We say this in the footer of every page too.

3. Content and corrections

We write and check the articles ourselves. If we find an error, we correct it and, where the correction matters, we note it. If you spot something that looks wrong, email questions@taveo.co.uk and we will look at it.

4. Your content

If you email us a question, you are free to do so. By emailing you, you give us permission to use your question (with your name shortened or hidden if you prefer) in the “Ask the Expert” section. We will never use your full name or email address without asking first.

5. Links to other sites

Some pages link to other websites (for example, a phone's settings or a government site). We are friendly with those sites but not responsible for what they do. If you follow a link and something goes wrong, that is the other site's responsibility, not ours.

6. Availability

We try to keep the site up. If it is ever down for maintenance or for a problem we are fixing, we will not charge you for anything, because there is nothing to charge for.

7. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we update the “Last updated” date above. For a reading site, changes are rare and small.

8. The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you need to take anything to court, it will be in the courts of England and Wales, unless you are a consumer in another country that gives you the right to use your own local courts.
